Tyler Wood, Ph.D.
Tyler Wood completed his Ph.D. at Florida State University. Tyler completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at Florida Gulf Coast University Counseling and Psychological Services. Tyler has experience in community, private practice, school, and university settings. He particularly enjoys working with young adults as they navigate the complexities of newfound independence. Tyler's clinical interests include anxiety and stress, depression, interpersonal relationships, adjustment concerns, identity and self-esteem, substance use, and trauma. Tyler utilizes an integrative approach with interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, acceptance-based, and internal family systems methodologies. Prior to FSU, he earned a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology at the University of Louisville, following a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Kentucky.
