Tyler Wood, Ph.D.

Tyler Wood, Ph.D., completed his doctoral training at Florida State University. He completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at Florida Gulf Coast University Counseling and Psychological Services.

Dr. Wood has experience across community, private practice, school, and university settings. He particularly enjoys working with young adults as they navigate the complexities of newfound independence and life transitions.

His clinical interests include anxiety and stress, depression, interpersonal relationships, adjustment concerns, identity development and self-esteem, substance use, and trauma.

Dr. Wood utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach, incorporating interpersonal, cognitive behavioral, acceptance-based, and Internal Family Systems methodologies to support individualized and meaningful care.

Prior to his doctoral training, he earned a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Kentucky.
