Jacqueline (Jaci) Niks, APC

Jacqueline (Jaci) Niks received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University. She is currently working toward full licensure as a Professional Counselor under the supervision of Carrie Milhous, LPC.

Prior to her career in counseling, Jaci earned her Bachelor’s degree in Choral Music Education from the Florida State University School of Music. She brings over twenty-two years of experience in education, where she taught, coached, and mentored children of all ages, including students with special needs.

Jaci has also worked with immigrant populations both in the United States and abroad. She has completed specialized training in Compassion Fatigue and Field Traumatology, as well as in the treatment of victims of sexual abuse, complex trauma, and human trafficking. She is currently pursuing certification in Traumatology through the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology.

Her counseling education program was completed at Mosaic Psychological Services, where she received training to treat a wide range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, PTSD, addictions, and personality disorders across children, adolescents, and adult populations.

Jaci utilizes an integrative and individualized approach to therapy, incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gestalt therapy, psychodynamic theory, and humanistic modalities.

Outside of clinical work, Jaci has been actively involved in youth ministry for over eight years and serves as the Director of Volleyball for Fundamental Sports Academy, where she coaches young women. She also enjoys performing and occasionally sings at local church and theater events. Her greatest joy is being the mother of two children.
